Jolie and Sweefs - well said. There is hypocrisy out there and society continues to allow it.

Here’s another question - is violence ever justified? When is a slap or a shove or push acceptable? I’ve always lived by the principle of zero-tolerance, but could the physical aggressor ever be pushed so far that they retaliate physically? And when I say being pushed - pushed via the words and conduct of the other person - but no need for self-defense?

I’ve thought about this. I think in such cases a person is expected to remove him/herself from the situation/room as soon as possible. Self control and restraint isn’t too much to expect from anyone in my opinion.
