Paah this has nothing to do with tribes or religions. More it's a few rotten sickos who give all a bad name.
Truth is that for centuries the majority of faiths and peoples lived by a certian code of common decency and today we see all that gone becuase of the actions of a few crackpots.
Dont let the actions of a few nut jobs ruin your views of tribes or faiths... this is not a major problem as people make out. The general rot in society is the major problem where these days theres simply no respect for a person unless that person forces you to sumbit to them.

Obviously you have never met or encountered a real warrior, in all warrior cultures there is a universall code of not hurting women or children which every culture maintained until at least the last five decades.
The instances where some so called warriors have acted dishonourably does not cloud the truth of a warrior.
Soldiers rape and pillage… for they have the freedom to do so.
A warrior be he a knight of the shires or a Samurai, or a Faris heck even a commanche does not allow himself to stoop to such a level… if he did his own kind would destroy him.

Fact is not even a soldier should treat anyone in the manner described, for this is wholey inhuman and is an act to dishonour and impose thier own will on another.

it has everything to do with Tribal cultural and mindset, mind you .. just read the Pashtunwali (the pushtoon code).. i don't give a damn how old or scared it is, but it's one of the tool in current Tribal Agencies to promote violence.
This very incident happens in tribal area of Punjab or South Most Punjab, the people are actually look like living in cave world - blame education/landlord system - all are form of tribal mentality.

exactly.. this is happening in taliban control utopia gay world, and in tribal area's of Pakistan be it in FATA or Southern Punjab or Interior Sindh or Under sardars in Baluchistan.

Alexander the great was aleader of soldiers not warriors and the macedonian army was as modern as America so it was not a tribal force and had no warrior culture. Ghengish Khan was a millitary one hit wonder who destroyed the tribes of central asia first and created an army by destroying warrior culture and bringing in a decimal army system.
Crusaders are an odd one for they were mixed up of soldiers and warriors and some crusaders were indeed notable and kind to the enemy, not the majority but the some who put faith first such as Bohemund of Tarranto and Raymond who backed off rather than lay seige to jerusalem.
Romans were not warriors they were soldiers, gladiators were warrior slaves who were forced to fight in tournaments. Huns were barbarians and they are genuine thugs and the only ones out of your list who are still tribal in nature.
But all these were empires not tribes. They started as tribes but ended up as anything but.
In out countries however the same tribes have co-existed for centuries without anything like the rot we see today.
Against outsiders tribes have even stood together and to be honest in my experiences with tribes from around the world not one of them was as barbaric as the drunken louts i have to deal with on a daily basis in civilised country like UK.

Nope warriors and soldiers are two different things if you cant see the difference thats your problem not mine.
A tribe rarely numbers more than a hundren individuals over time it can grow though.
An empire however is built of many nations tribes etc who are forced to work as one or face death...
A man who is forced to fight is a soldier... he takes orders. He is allowed to pull back, advance, retreat and can choose not to fight but is forced onto the field. He has to be trained and upkept by the state.
A man who fights only when he has to is a warrior no one tells him when to fight he fights to protect what he values and holds dear... how he fights is of no importance so long as what he fights for is safe. A warrior lacks the funds of a state and must make do as he can he has little choice if he retreats he will lose if he stays chances are he might still lose and he rarley has hope of reinforcement.
