Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
hollowman, I have been quite interested in this movie, without giving out any imp stuff, pls tell me what it’s abt…I watched an interview of the lead actor on MTV few days ago, is this based on the life of Parveen Babi? And if yes, in real life, which superstar of bollywood had been associated with Parveen babi? the actor and director of the film kept talking very candidly abt a superstar and his controversy with Parveen and how it was later learned or people gathered that he was actually a good guy…
But pls be careful not to leak anything abt the story which could spoil the movie, i’d like to watch it.
Thanks :k:
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
Mahesh Bhatt
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
isnt it based on the affair between parveen babi and mahesh? although the public believes it was mahesh that used babi for a boost to his career mahesh shows in this movie that it was not so (but at the same time mahesh claims that this movie IS NOT about him and parveen babi)
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
i also watched woh lamhe and found it nice
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
Yup, its based on Mahesh Bhatt - Parveen Babi relationship. I am sure there is fact mixed with fiction to make it more interesting, but the promos seem great. Look forward to watching it.
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
who cares about fact vs fiction. im just watching it too check out shiney ahuja
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
Ya they r right It was “Mahesh Bhatt”, check here
http://movies.monstersandcritics.com/indiancinema/article_1202411.php/Woh_Lamhe_Bhatts_final_farewell_to_Parveen_Babi
but they have added some masala to make this movie more entertaining coz some scenes r too vulgure like Kangna the heroine of this movie puts off her that in public what you could’nt expect from Parvin babi, some scenes have nothing to do with Parvin Babi coz I haven’t heared such kind of things for Parvin Babi in my life.
Movie was well-made emotional film that lingers in your memory even after it’s over except the ending coz you will never come to know when this movie comes to an end and I think that was the suspense of this movie to me…ending could be better.
Now the one last thing which makes this movie special to me, It was the horrifying scenes of this movie which reminds me of someone in my real life coz I’ve seen something same like this in my real life from close quarter, which is totally matched with this moviez horror scenes. Believe me I’m not lying whenever i think about that night my body starts shivering, right now my mind is shivering while typing this message here coz therez something called “Depression” and that was one of my close friend who was suffering from this phobia, at that time situation was same like this movie scenes, doctors had raised their hands same like this movie scenes and they wanted to give him shocks same like this movie but he was lucky coz Yoga and meditation have changed his life. Now he is better than a normal person. Oh my god now i think, i should not think more about him coz that reminds me of some horryfying nights which i had never think of.. to be happened with me.![]()
So you must watch once but only on Multiplex coz without background sound effects this movie is not worth watch it and while watching those horrifying scenes just think of my position at that time…
Re: Woh Lamhe - Reviews
Thanks for your analysis hollowman :k:
I really like the songs, esp the “kia mujhey pyaar hai…”, it’s the kind that gets to you only once youre made to listen to it over and over and at first i was sick of it playing again and again on tv an radio but now i wait for it to play. The song is shot so naturally and the visuals go great with the rythm…there’s smthng interesting abt it.
Plus the movie’s got a new version of Jawad Ahmed’s “Bin terey” which also very nice. And yes, the lead actors are both cool.
