so I am in the middle of trying to plan my wedding for next July the dates are not confirmed (LONG STORY -_-) but ya! and most of the photographers are getting booked super quick so I decided to look at a lot more than just the usual.. famous ones..
and then I asked them for a quote with video and photo combos for a brown wedding (3 days) and it was very reasonable. but I want to know if any of you have heard of them? or what you think about their pictures from the website? I will obviously see their full wedding albums but I just wanted to get a review on them from any of you.
Also the reasons I liked them over a lot of the other ones were cause:
the price they quoted me was for 2 photographers and 2 videographers which was great! compared to others that only had 1 photographer and 1 videographer.
they hand you ALL of the pictures they take at your events with printing rights (which i was surprised to hear a lot of the others didn’t do)
they give you the HD video on dvd plus the raw files some of the other quotes I got were insane. but video wasn’t the biggest deal in my books im willing to settle on that but not on the pics. what do you think about their videos though?
I am kind of worried that they might not know brown weddings but they seem really flexible and he did ask me to go through it with them and as I read elsewhere that sometimes people that don’t know our weddings do a better job cause they capture everything since its all different for them.
anyways I want honest opinions on their style and whatever you see from their pics and if you have ever heard of them
Haven't heard of them but from their website, their pictures and videos are sweet and on par with other "famous" photographers/videographers. But if they haven't covered desi weddings, I hope they're not overwhelmed. And you'll have to be more involved in the editing and music, et cetera of the video.
I’ve never heard of them..
If you like their photography style, maybe you can book them for photography and find someone else for videography (as it may be easier for South Asian videographers to add Indian/Pakistani music).
If you want my honest opinion, I would go for another photographer AND videographer. I’m not really impressed with the picture quality and the post production (editing). Some of the pics are taken creatively while others are quite typical…which makes me wonder if there photograohy is just a hit or miss.
There is a thread on here (you can use the search bar) on Toronto photographers. There are SO many out there…I am sure you will be able to find a good photographer. Also check out Wedding Wire for a list of photographers that are not mentioned on GS…
