Dear mr. TLK i could not reply in one of the threads started by Mr. Dee because the thread was closed. So i had to start a new one i hope its not a problem.

The thread started by Mr. Dee was:

"Well OK, we can live with the fact that indians are not gonna leave us alone and will be here all the time. And I do admit there are few civilized indians on this forum as well.

But what is the reason to allow a person like Queer who is nothing but abusive towards Pakistan and Pakistanis to go on and post on PA and WA forums?

To be honest, I find it very disturbing that on a Pakistani forum we can not discuss Pakistan’s point of view without being abused by indian dudes like this Queer.

If the case is opposite, i.e. indian point of view is being agressively countered, the Pakistani poster gets warning points in no time. I don’t understand the logic…"

Dear TLK i understand that is the rigth procedure and everyone should do that if they have a problem. But when so many people (including me and others) have complained about this issue then why there is no step taken by the gs forum moderators??
I am not talking about just “bashing”…i am talking about systematicly BASHING Pakistan and Islam. Not only by mr. Queer but so many others (they happen to be Indians so i can’t do anything about that).

Again your anwser was:

But mr. TLK with all sincerity do you really think that the responsibitly / anwser / solution only lies in reporting to the mods???

Suppose a police officer does see someone beaten up or he is trapped in a car bc of a car accident and he cannot get out…then will the police wait for the victim to call the police or will the police take action him/herself?

I mean its not hard (specially when some people are crying out to) to pick out those who have ill intentions. U save every thread and every post it will take only few hours.

I personally believe there should be no bashing at all but specially when i see it happening in Pakistani forum that makes me sad.

Now we know that we cant live without them (and its not a romantic statement :D), and honestly, Pakistani Politics and Cricket will not be half fun if we remove India factor out of it.

And yes, we have many civilized Indians on this site. I always expect all the members to have the tenacity of ignoring any mindless comment (unless a personal attack) and not get engaged with a non-civilized person, be that person an Indian or a non-Indian. The purpose of some of the people on this website is to derail every thread and turn it into Pak/Anti-Pak and Islam/Anti-Islam conversation. It does not matter what POV those posters are reflecting at that point, Paki or anti-Paki ... their goal is to convert the thread into mindless bashing.

Sometimes, these posters are clever enough to know how to press the right buttons and get by with their bashing without violating any policies. We do kick them out of GS eventually but it takes time as it is not easy to grab them using one post or thread.

I dont like to discuss personalities in the feedback forum so let me not talk about a specific person, but let me assure you of one thing. This is a Paki forum. We do not take any insults towards our nation or religion lightly. Pakistan is one great nation, unfortunately Pakistani Politicians make our country look so bad that others get a chance to point fingers towards it. I just hope that every time that finger pointing happens, we figure out how to respond with dignity and decency. Those who cannot carry a conversation with decency and dignity get banned at the end. Again as I said that dont want to take names but 2 members who are/were somewhat related to this thread of yours are banned now.

About Islam; Islam is not a man-made religion so our polices towards people attacking our religion are even tougher than for the one attacking Pakistan. We are so protective towards our faith that we even made a policy in the Religion forum that no one can attack any other religion or religious figure cause we noticed that if I attack someone else's religion, he/she is going to come back and attack mine, and that is not acceptable so I better mind my tongue to begin with (I am sure you understand what I am saying).

Now about post to post concerns, reporting the post is still one of the best solution. When you hit 'report the post' button, message goes to all the mods/CM/admins of the forum, which means that it goes to multiple people and do get noticed. If problem seems bigger than PM or a thread in feedback is another way of catching attention (as you rightfully did).

In nutshell, as a Pakistani/Muslim based forum, it is our responsibility to defend what we believe in. Freedom of speech is the right only offered to the people who are civilized. For non-civilized members, we have bans and warnings. As a member, you cant see the actions that mod team takes to stop the non-civilized behavior of some. But I want to assure you that we do take action and your 'reporting' really really helps.

We are aware of the people who are involved in the systematic BASHING of Pakistan and Islam and believe me, we have a system to deal with them but as I said that to deal with such people, time is required.

Now about your police example, I agree that law-enforcing responsibility is on the admin team but in a forum of 60K members and avg of 2K posts per day, its is hard for only 45 mods to do their job without the help of members.

*I agree with you that we should not remove the Indian factor and i am also not against any indian participating in this forum because that would be silly and immature thing to ask.

Well mr. TLK i have to thank you that you too time out to anwser my post :) i sincerely appreciate that alot. I am satisfied with your anwsers and i truely believe that we all should be more responsible and not try to make things worse but we should reach out to each other because we have no other choice. As neighbours we cannot pack our bags and move to another continent we have to live each other and tolerate each other.

I am happy with almost all the things you said therfor i rest my case.

Unfortunatly sometimes i cannot be that patient that i can ignore some of the silly comment thus i has to reply and make my point. But thats healthy discussion and although i myself am sometimes guilty of bashing but (only God know the truth because some of will not believe me) i only do that to show mirror to some people and let them know that one should always first look into their own house then point fingers to others.

We all go through that HH. I am sure that no one is cool headed enough to ignore each and every silly comment all the times :)
