A reply by Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal Nadvi , (Director and Imam of Al-Falah Islamic Center, Oakville, Ontario, Canada, states) to a person wanted to see the Prophet (saw) in dream:
[INDENT]You can wish to get this blessing, but there is no certain way to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream. Only one thing I can advise you: the more you follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the better chance you have to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

[INDENT]One more point I want to clarify here is: we would be living in the company of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) if we practice his Sunnah in our life. So, to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream is not an end or absolute wish of the believer. The supreme goal of the believer is to accompany the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Paradise[/INDENT]
