actually, if u are just saying "hege" (how?) then you'd pronounce it "hay-gay" but if you're saying "hege iddiya" (how are you) then because the first word ends with a vowel and the seconds starts with a vowel, there's a liaison between them, and you'd say "haig iddi-ya". does that make sense?
yea that's all I wanted to know, how exactly it was pronounced! i was getting confused with the slang and the proper way of saying it. I think i'll stick with this version, thanks you're awesome:)
