Wish my summer was like that ...

Nice weapons load-out... looks like 2 AIM-9 Sidewinders, 2 AIM-54 Phoenixes and 2 drop tanks. Not to forget the integral 20mm Vulcan cannon. Sheesh, a summer spent playing with that baby would be fun fun fun.... with the wings retracted into the delta position that little number can do nearly 2.5 times the speed of sound!!!!

Yep, that's a Grumman F-14 Tomcat. Only problem is you need 2 people to fly that thing. So who would YOU have in the back seat navigating?

Did I mention that those AIM-54 missiles mean that the F-14 has the longest-ranged air-to-air weapons system in the world? You could get a kill without the other guy getting anywhere near close enough to shoot back.....

waisay, technical point.. how did the F14 engaged the surfer? cuz IF maddy is right and it does Mach2.5, obviously the surfer was NOT engagaged since the start (and dropped in the ocean to surf) and NEITHER he had a chance from the rope that F14 will engage it FROM a spot.. (cuz putting a Mach2.5 pressure like THAT to a surfer will STRAIGHT take his body in pieces)..
