yup, he is leaving tomorrow, inshaa Allah, to embark on his professional career. he is gonna start DVM [Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine] program at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

he is a bit nervous though to leave Canada and live on-campus in the US. inshaa Allah, he will return to Canada after 8 years when he finishes his planned specialization in Exotic Birds.
we are all sad a lilttle but very happy for him…he chose this profession because he is an animal lover from age 3. he always wanted to be a VET!
That is so exciting for him KKF. It seems like he's studying something he will truly enjoy as a career, and nothing can beat that!

YES! there was so much drama in the family regarding his choice...as all desis, his mother wanted him to be a neuro-surgeon but he stuck to his gun and said if she wanted his happiness, let him do what he loves to do...so, she finally gave in and now she is so happy she calls In India and tells k unkaa beTaa ghoRaa DaakTar banne jaa rahaa hai! :)
it's because of his passion for animals and aviary life forms. he did bird of prey shows at African Lion Safari during summer when he worked as a summer student.

yup…i always supported him but my bro and bhabhi kinda opposed his idea to become a VET! he’ll be the FIRST in our ENTIRE extended family, iA
he has been living on campus for the last four years in s different city for his undergrad degree so he is ok living alone…the only thing that bothers him is going to the US because of the gun culture there. since it’s an IVY League University, he simply couldn’t resist the temptation to go there. he is was also accepted in Ontario’s ONLY Vet College in Guelph.
