So im getting married and my inlaws r having a wise/wize at their house. I have no clue what that its. Therefore, idk how to dress. My sils told me to help them do their hair and makeup but I think it is a religious thing. Can someone plz explain wht it is Nd what.we will b doing there.
Idk look over dressed but i dont wanna look underdressed either. Hmmmm they said to dress up because i m the bride. Now plzzz tell me wht it is so I can dress acxordingly

I think, they home some religious lecture (dars/waz) at home. you need to dress up modestly and cover your body as you do when go to mosque.

waaz is sermon....religious sermon...like a talk or something
there is no harm in dressing up properly but because its a sermon so u might be accepted to cover your head for the time being. so just dress up the way u like. u are a bride so u need to stand out. its just that at such occasions sleeveless shirts, high ankle cut trousers/shalwars are not appreciated so avoid wearing those (if you wear them) :)

Wear a fancy/ heavy suit, but just keep it modest, and yes have a dupatta/scarf so you can cover your head. I think you could be able to wear churiyan/bangles, if you can find some that arent' really noisy then it'll be a plus for you.

I wore a semi-formal outfit. It was pretty fancy. It was huge so everything was covered and had full=sleeves. I wore a bracelet instead of bangles and did my makeup and hair. :) Only a few ppl were dressed up but I stoodout as a bride. :)
