Elders used to add 4-5 kalonji seeds to their food … I once asked them why they do it and found out that Kalonji, amongst many other things , increases the immunity against flu, cold , fever, joint aches and helps digestion ..
Hence , if you are living in a cold country, do try to add a few kalonji seeds to your food , either in your salan or perhaps add them to the omelete in the morning …
PS : it has a garam taseer , so dont take it more then 3-4 seeds at a time … and if you live in a hot country , do not exceed more then once a week …
