wisdom teeth

shud i get them pulled out??:hmmm:

i feel really uncomfortable. i got both upper and lower wisdom teeth on left side of my mouth and most of the time i end up bitting my cheek and it hurts. :crying:

i think they r still growing cuz they r bit smaller than my other molars. will it be ok if they grow and be the same size of my other teeth or r they gonna be more uncomfortable?? :bummer:

how many of them got them removed and y?:hmmm:

Re: wisdom teeth

Mine have been growing for the last three years and they have start to come through on one side and the other side I cannot even feel them trying to come through. However periodicly they hurt and it is a very discomforting pain. I am also contemplating having them removed:hmmm:

Re: wisdom teeth

Remove them ladies!!!!!

Ive been through the pain of when a wisdom tooth is ready to be pulled and it so horrible Ive cried and cried and cried. Yeah, I dont wish that upon anyone because it hurts your jaw, ears, everything! Ouch!

Re: wisdom teeth

but right now i chew my cheek more than i chew the food :bummer:

:hinna:

Re: wisdom teeth

I haven’t experienced any wisdom teeth growing, should I be worried/starting to feel dumber? :hmmm:

Re: wisdom teeth

^^ Dont remind me of those dumb aqal-daar jokes!

Re: wisdom teeth

:hehe: laugh all you want :frowning:

I was just wondering why I didnt manage to grow any. Not sure about its significance in the teeth line-up.

Re: wisdom teeth

My dentist told me I have to get all 4 extracted through an operation and I would have to stay at hospital over night

Re: wisdom teeth

I didnt have to stay overnight...they're pulling teeth out...not rearranging your jaw.

Re: wisdom teeth

He said because they are going to pull 4 out at the same time so I might have to :bummer:

Re: wisdom teeth

Mine aren't fully grown or even grown at all. Will they cut into my gum? It hurts so much though and sometimes the pain is so blinding I have to stop what I am doing and go sleep or something.

I have exams in May so don't want to have the op as such but the pain sometimes leaves me 'out of it'.

Jaanawar- You are lucky!

Re: wisdom teeth

If you plan on keeping them and the dentist is alright with it, make sure to tell the hygienist to clean them up below the gum line on your bi annual cleaning visits. The brush barely reaches there, so its important for you to get some sort of scaling done by the tools they used to go below the gum line. Its not painful or anything, and takes less than a minute. However, like most people, if you dont tell the hygienist, they'd skip that. Flossing daily is important. God gave you 32 teeth, you have the right to keep them all, just take good care of them.
