it is what settles in the heart and what is affirmed by actions.
Whoever spoke good, but did not act righteously, then Allaah

I found the following about Salafees at the Binoria Masjids web site. Is it correct?
http://www.binoria.org/q&a/miscellaneous.html#salafees
Who are Salafees
Ques: Who are the people called Salafees? And what is your view on Sheikh Nasrudeen Al-Albaani?
Ans: According to our information Sheikh Nasruddin Al-Bani was an 'Alim (Islamic Scholar) and a writer but his writings are prejudicial and critical. In present times the Salafees, which are known as Ghair Muqallid in our country, consider Al-Bani and other scholars of his kind as their leader.
Whereas the Salafees or Ghair Muqallid are called those who have no capability of Ijtihad themselves nor they follow any religious directors (‘Aimma Mujtahideen). They only follow the wordy meanings of Qur’an & Sunnah. They consider the actual meaning of any Command or Word as useless. They give bad names to the religious and learned scholars who got the knowledge from Sahabah Kiram (Radhi Allahu Anhum), Taba’een & Taba’ Taba’een and explained the real Commands of Qur’an & Sunnah. Whereas to give bad name to a Muslim is termed as Fisq by the Apostle of Allah (Sallallahu 'Alaihe Wasallam).
One should refrain from argue with such persons as they never listen to the other’s point of view even it is true. They usually gave two replies that; such is not proven by Hadith or this Hadith is weak. Hence one should not spoil his time in argument with them.
My dear brother Old Lahori,
AsSalaamu 'alaykum,
That site is false propoganda against the people of the Qur'aan and the Sunnah - the Haq.
It is full of accustaions, but no eveidences to back them up. If what the author of that site claims is true, then at the very least he ought to provide one proof, or one quote, from any of the books of Shaikh al-Albaanee or the scholars who he acuses.
In fact, one will find the exact opposite when he/she turns to the books of such scholars. Their works and their teachings are full of Qur'aan and narrations of ahadeeth as understood by the Companions - radhiAllaahu anhum. They show utmost respect to the Companions and praise them. They base their judgement upon the Qur'aan and Sunnah as understood by the Companions and those who followed them in righteousness, such as the 4 Imaams themselves, who were from amongst the Salaf-us-Saaliheen.
The reason why the author of that article has advised the people not to argue with such scholars is because once anyone engages in discussion with the scholars, the truth will reveal itself, and it will clearly expose the author's lies and slander of such noble scholars.
If he speaks the truth, he should bring forth his evidence.

Unfortunately, after reading the reply, it seems that the respondent, may Allah accept his good deeds, hasn't understood who or what a Salafi is. The answer also makes the error of assigning only two states to all Muslims: either you are mujtahid or muqallid. Is there nothing in between this?

Any examples of this? Without which this is nothing more than an accusation.

And this whole reply, does it give a good name to Salafis? If not, then the respondent has acted contrary to his own advice.
