Is it possible to print wirelessly via internet networking router or do you have to buy a seperate special wireless printing router?

what kinda a printer you have? could it be BT enabled or does it have a USB connection?

I am using HP Office Jet G85 and it has a USB connection. Currently I have two laptops and I have one end of the wire plugged into the printer and one end is loose. Whichever computer I have to print from, I connected the open end of the cable to that laptop and print. I am thinking about buying another laptop, so then I'll have 3. I was thinking of having a wireless connection for printing so I can print from any one of the 3 laptops.

hmmmmm.. seems to me .. u can setup the computers in a network with a normal router/broadband access point.. u can also dedicate a laptop for the usb-connected printer..and use file/print sharing on that laptop to enable printing over network ..
what u can do is add the printer on other laptops by using:
\compname\printer's.name.u.gave
ps, best option (ideal) would be to replace your router with the one that can have 'usb' or 'parallel' ports for printers...

Gizzy payi So if I get something like that, That will be connected to the printer and I can then print wirelessly? I guess I’ll have to install the software too. And they don’t sell that in US so I guess I’ll have to find something similar in US

Yeah jsut find some other brand. They all work the same way. Make sure you get one with USB port, since I think you must have USB printer.
Software comes with the print server, install on all connected machines. And they dont have to remain turned on just the one you are using at a time.
