Change channel. You seem to have another wireless router transmitting on same channel in vicinity, this causes radio conflicts and results connection without network traffic or frequent disconnections.
These are the wireless settings on the router:

I have a laptop which does not have N capability so I can't stick with just N on the router that is why it's mixed.
The channel, do I change that on the router or my USB adapter?
