i have ranked the following according to my experience. Coverage varies depending on where you live. One carrier might be excellent at one place but might completely suck at a different location. I live near NYC and i regret to say that i have t-mobile for 2 more years.
AtnT (6/10)
T-mobile (4/10)
Sprint (6/10)
Verizon (8 /10)
Cingular (7 / 10)

bascially.. just list the carriers in your region, i am not even in US :) i am in canada.. i just need a list of all the wireless carriers..

I produced a report two years ago where I compared the brand awareness and reputation of wireless carriers in Canada. The major ones I discussed in my report were Rogers, Telus, Fido and Bell Mobility. Since then, the industry has undergone major consolidations.

As far as I know Rogers & Fido have merged .... Wireless service in North America SUX. Americans/Canadian are decades behind in wireless technology comparing with Europe & Asia.

The lack of standards has indeed left North America behind Europe & Japan.

indeed its a mess here.. so much monopoly.. rogers now offers wireless, cable, internet, landline so basically everything!
Lets start our own wireless company.. hmm GSConnected.. or something.. :D ..

AT&T has merged with Cingular. Its all Cingular now. No more At&T. Just wanted to add that. Besides the ones u listed above from US, I havent heard of any more. If there are anymore, they are mom and pop carriers with sucky service :D
