now let me say why these three, (phone is a nokia 6230) first thing was the WAY these wireless handsfreesets look .. i dont like majority of the styles, having said that, first one i posted is the affordable, like REALLY neatly priced, and yet has good performance for the money, second one is just even better in terms of the talk time, a lil more money, i agree, now the manufacturer one, style wise is the best, but the most heavily priced among everything, but is both ears wearable.. (i kinda want the earpiece in my left ear) right ear is FINE.. but choice wise i would prefer left-ear..

i know i’m drifting slightly towards the second one, but nokia keeps pulling me towards theirs.. their other headsets arent ‘doing it’ for me..

I have the Jabra Bt 200 (sort of - if fell down the side of my bed and I can't find it ever since).

It's not bad, but the talk time issue is sometimes annoying, especially as there is no in-car charger. Ignore the "holding cradle" as an advantage - you will never use it, you'll just keep it loose in your pocket. It falls out to easily to ever trust clipping on your outside.

I would recomment the Bt 250, since it's just the Bt 200 with a longer talk time, for minimal extra cost.

Both Jabras are either ear wearable, both support the voice "redial" function if your phone has it (the Z600 does - you press the button on the Jabra and say "redial" and it does")

The Jabra's single button starts and ends calls. And the flashingof the single LED has patterns to indicate things such as bluetooth connection status etc.

Don't go for the Nokia headset. it's overpriced for what you'll actually do with it. The only reason not to go for the jabra is if you don't like its "behind the ear" styling and its "in ear" speaker ... which feels at first like someone is sticking their finger in your ear the whole time. Then you get used to it and even appreciate the clarity it brings to sound even in noisy areas.

oh.. there were some that came with the in-car charger.. but thing is, i wont be using it THAT much while driving that i will be needing that.. ps, how r these things recharged anyway? i’m just sick of wires now and want something that doesnt get in seatbelt and steering’s way..uknoww..

 250 it is then! dammn! i dont like nokia now..

dont need it, dont want it

only drawback i can notice for a bluetooth headset is that transmitting on bluetooth circuit, takes extra power.. so charge consumes faster..

I have the Jabra 250 - its pretty good with Nokias and Sony Ericcsons.

The best thing about it is the way it wraps behind the ear discreetly unlike most of the others that make you look like your some kind of spaceman.

The battery life is good but the headset isnt the best if you stray away from your phone too much. Ideal for driving - make sure you get an in car charger though.

I had a Motorola HS810 and a Plantronics before the Jabra and they were excellent in terms of quality of sound but you look silly wearing them.

Jabra just slips behind the ear and cant be seen easily when driving.

its getting better and better  thanks :k:

Faizy

What phone you using it with?

I use it with my company mobile - Nokia 6310i and my personal Sony Ericsson T610i.

I have to say even though it is trouble free it does work much better with the T610.

Personally, I think its great - just takes a bit of getting used to.

with 6230..

reason it works better with sony because 6310i was prolly the FIRST bluetooth-enabled device nokia launched... i think EVER..

hey faiz, post a pic where your wearing it.
Its not so clear on this :k:

MashALlah lovely toy btw :k:

If your phone supports it you can use the voice recognition to dial numbers. I use that all the time in the car.

I paid about $40 on ebay, including shipping. That was about a year ago.
