When one morning you wakeup to find that the usual brightness of the day is replaced by a cloudy sky , a shiver runs through your skin to remind you need to wear something warmer … the motia plant in your lawn is already devoid of the lovely flowers you used to pluck and fill your bedside crystal bowl with….the chilled air makes your cheeks and lips dry and pink, when in kitchen you want to make something warm and sweet like gajar ka halwa….when evenings make you lazy and you want to do nothing but to have a steaming mug of coffee and a lovely book in your hand, sitting on your terrace absorbing the sadness of the weather in your soul….making you pick up your cell phone and call your loved ones to let them know that they are badly missing….or the sound of a passing by airplane reminds you of someone who is so far and away…when night seems endless and you want to do a whole lot of things but to sleep, with peanuts and cashew nuts tickling your taste buds, discussing the hottest news of the day or a new piece of poetry you read, a sweet song arising from your cell phone which already have been heard hundreds of time but still feel oh soooo special…and finally when you go to bed you neeed a warm hug to ensure that you are not alone at all in all your feelings….
You know that winter has begun and the romance and memories it brings are back……….
