Winter clothes in Pakistan

What kind of fabrics are worn in Pakistan for winter (December)(Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore)? I am allergic to wool, so something that is not wool. Also, I hate ironing (I have a history of burning clothes), so I would appreciate suggestions for fabrics that don’t need much ironing. Last but not least I am not a big fan of velvet.

Thank you!

Re: Winter clothes in Pakistan

Linen! I was in Pak last December, and for punjab weather, linen got me through it. Cambric is also good but not as warm as linen. Cardigan/sweater/shawl are a must also.

Get thermals... warm shoes... and a bunch of thick, warm sweaters/sweatshirts. I've been to Pakistan twice in the winter and i feel like that's all u really need. I wore whatever clothes i had... but since i had sweaters and warm shoes i was good. Rawalpindi/Islamabad are warm during the day but super-cold at night... so the thermals come in handy.
