Winter is here and the boots must come out of hibernation. I hate wearing boots because I hate tucking straight or wide-leg trousers into the boots - the “poof” at the top of the boot looks like I’m a Cossack. If I don’t tuck the boots in, the bottom of the trousers end up with little salt and water marks, which looks equally bad.
So what suggestions do you have for wearing winter boots and trousers (not skinny jeans) so that it neither looks lame but also accomplishes the purpose of keeping my feet warm and trousers clean.
Anyways, for your question…well I have one or two pairs of straight legged jeans and I also have a pair of heeled knee length boots. So I wear those and they fight nicely around my leg leaving my jeans at ease, and keeping my legs warm plus the heel enables you to keep the bottom of your jeans nice and clean…not to mention teh knee length boots look great over skinny jeans! >< But I also have low cuff boots which are really nice for my boyfriend jeans because I don’t have to worry about tucking anything in or out etc. I just quickly skimmed UO for examples:-
I always have the same problem. I had been thinking of opening a thread on the same issue, never got around to it. Those are some good shoes sweet.i.f. :)
