Re: Winning Captains for Pakistan
This is an example of Stats can be misleading .Imran khan is the best ODI captain ,but stats tell the other way .Under Imran's captaincy Pakistan won two biggest ODI championship.world cup 1992 and Nehru cup 1989.A world cup victory is equivalent to winning 10 odi tournaments or perhaps more than that .Also Nehru cup ,6 best teams were there .
The second best ODI captain is Wasim Akram.Won the Carlton and United series 1997( for the first time in history Pakistan won the world seris cup in Australia). Then the runner up of the World cup 1999(which is not a small thing either).
Re: Winning Captains for Pakistan
LOOKS LIKE SALIM MALIK WAS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL,FOLLOWED BY WASIM AKRAM & WAQAR YOUNIS!

That's more like it. There is one thing that binds all of these captains, which is inconsistency of our team. Imran, who won us the World Cup, had to carry a patchy team through to semis and after that we know the story. Wasim made the biggest impact after Imran, but his off-field controversies tainted his legacy. Inzamam, carried one of the young, inconsistent and injury stricken team that melted after six months of scandals and controversies.
