I have not seen a website offering a lower price for 4x6 (18 cents) and 5x7 (29 cents) for prints from digital pics. And free shipping to boot. And no minimum quantities to order.
for the first review the evaluation done was a comparison between prints and probably how the user saw the same photos on their screen.. that's neither here or there.. as everyone has a different calibratrion on their monitors. unless of course hers was properly calibrated to some reference.
If indeed it was.. then she'd have to make sure she proofed those prints to match the profile of the online resources's printing machine.. usually a Fuji Frontier or a Nortisu... ICC profiles for a variety of vendors around the US are available for a free download at www.drycreekphoto.com
I have personally found Shutterfly's quality to be good.. yes.. it's 'too' red but u have to have a calibrated monitor to know if u had the right print in the first place.
for canadian guppies : futurephoto.com has always had a 5 free print promotion...if you're desperate keep ordering 5 prints, there's no limit to how many times you can do it(so far) :)
