Wine, champagne, beer, whisky etc.

So what’s the difference between these alcoholic beverages? Which one makes you drunk the most quickly and why?

Re: Wine, champagne, beer, whisky etc.

There are many differences -- the source, the recipe, etc. They all get you drunk depending on the amount of alcohol you ingest. Yet, why would you use them just to get drunk? Not to mention that "drunk" is a very imprecise term. What's really do you want to now?

Re: Wine, champagne, beer, whisky etc.

to a first order, the differences would primarily be
1. source of sugars for fermentation
2. whether final product is result of first fermentation, or a distillate of the first fermentation
3. the media in which the product is aged

as for what'd get you drunk quickest, the stuff with the highest concentration of alcohol - i'd go with one of the crazy high distillates like the whiskey used for flaming shots..

Beer and whiskey are related (similar sources). Champagne is just sparklng wine. Wine comes from fruity source and beer/whiskey from grains.

Main ingredient is alcohol. Ethyl Alcohol. No matter how one gets it in these drinks.

Why ask? ;)
