couple of things that tell from the log u posted.. log indicates that windows tried to access pagefile memory using kernel process IRQL that was too high.. drivers that use improper addresses USUALLY cause this error..
also, atapi.sys mentioned somewhere, and my take is you've updated CD drive firmware or installed a new drive or have DAEMON Tools or Alcohol 120% installed, doing any of these things results in atapi.sys being locked & preventing windows from backing the file up in an XP system.
OR for whatever reasons, improper shutdown, lost power, data corruption or million other things.. i would recommend start running windows setup from cd, reach to the part where you can run RECOVER CONSOLE, and use the command : bootcfg /rebuild
restart
if that doesnt work, try going to recovery console, use command: REN BOOT.INI BOOT.OLD
it will replace booting sequence file and will popup an error saying No BOOT.INI file found, using C:\WINDOWS default and the computer shall continue booting...
IF THAT doesnt work, i will recommend hardware/touching physically... for your computer to boot, it requires video (monitor) and keyboard... open up the computer and take out EVERYTHING else (sound, network, cd drive connection, keep hard drive) and restart..
IF IT GOES through, put the mouse back, restart... then put cd drive back, restart.. then sound, network (or wireless).
if they are not physical cards connected to your computer, try disabling them from the bios (if it lets u).. try maintaining the order..
my feeling is it could be corruption occured within windows (it should ALWAYS let u start in safe mode) and swapping physical components tend to reset these things..
Makes sense.
Hardware or external attachment seems to be problem.
Take out extra stuff and try starting computer. It means unloading extra baggage.
Put back one by one.
Check inside cables attached to motherboard from hardwares, also.
After turning off physically checking each hardware or taking out and putting back helps too.
