Is it me or is it really bad?

For someone a lot of videos I download can’t open with it,VLC FTW

its WM Player not you or your computer or your internet connection or the pirated movies you downloaded from torrents :chai:

VLC is the only player you need for media.

Shak, for the hot mujra flv files that you downloaded from YouTube, vlc will work better than wmp

Yes, VLC is a better player that comes with built in codecs, but if you really want to use windows media player, get a good codec pack like shark007's windows 7 codec pack, then you will be able to play almost all the files on windows media player itself without any additional software.
