I just installed it on a VM. Looking good as far as the installation goes, very painless. The Metro UI (not called that anymore) is another beast onto its own. Will play with it over the next few days.

No, I haven’t played with it yet. My focus is to upgrade my Mac OS at this point :).

I've been playing with it lately too and I like how MS has included Hyper-V which will allow a regular desktop to run x64 VMs BUT your processor must support SLAT.
What I don't like is that Hyper-V included with Windows 8 cannot be used to manage Hyper-V on Windows 2008 Servers. You still need Win7+RSAT to manage Win2K8 HyperV VMs.
There was something else in IE10 I didn't like but I can't remember right now but overall it's pretty neat.

I have been playing it on a laptop from the first Alpha. The system is light on resources and i love the new Task Manager, Explorer features. The boot time is much better now and the overall system is much faster than Win 7 on the same hardware. But the Metro (Windows 8 UI) is like a separate OS of its own, on laptop it feels like using 2 Operating systems at times. Its good for Tablet, but for laptops and desktops, its like using 2 operating system to do the same stuff. You have IE10 Metro, then IE 10 desktop, Chrome Metro, Chrome Desktop, its confusing.
As an IT guy, i dont think that am going to deploy it in our company, unless microsoft provide a way to directly boot into the desktop mode and disable the Metro (sorry, cant call that Metro anymore, its Windows 8 UI).

i got the RTM version, running in VMware.
There's talk of being able to deploy it so that the desktop is what shows up, using proper GPOs. Its new kernel has a lot of powerful features which may appeal to you.

Yes, there will be GPOs to do disable the Start screen and login directly to the desktop mode and all, even then i dont thing we will migrate to win 8. We skipped Vista and migrated to Win 7 directly from Win XP, and we may skip Win 8 as well.

Win 8 Pro RTM ISO 32 Bit - 2.45 GB
Win 8 Pro RTM ISO 64 bit - 3.33 GB
Disk Space used after the installation - Win 8 Pro RTM 64 - 15 GB (dont have the 32 bit value)

By size I meant the size of setup file to download. So its 2.5 GB, thanks.
