WOW microsoft’s working hard now for a change,
first they improve alot vista with windows 7
and they’re already working on windows 8 :eek:

Generally speaking, they never stop working. The minute an RC becomes a rumor, you should know they already have it’s successor in the test lab too. Between release of RTM/Retail and the new one becoming a rumor gives them enough time to test, retest, tweak, retweak and churn out another software.

You know that saying “The minute you walk out of the store with your PC, it’s already outdated” :hehe: I guess we will be saying the same about Operating Systems in the near future. :smiley:

yeah exactly
now microsoft is working hard too cuz they are getting competition
google even announced an OS based on linux
for netbooks which is light and has all the webfeatures etc

so micorosoft needs to be on its feet now if they dont wanna lose some of their market share

I've been using Windows 7 RC for months now, and I LOVE it, it runs infinitely better on my work laptop (my primary machine) than did my Vista. Vista compared to Windows 7 sucks royally. I LOVE Windows 7 so far.

windows 7 .. yuk .. took 5 hrs to install ...

Same issuse as vista in begining ... transfer Speed is really slow ... took 2-3 hrs to copy 3.47GB from USB drive to Primary HD ...

Some features are nice & fast .. but over all ... im gona switch to MAC world ... or atleast hackint0sh or ubuntu for time being ..

Dude, you need to upgrade your I/O hard ware :hehe:
I installed and have been using Win7 for a few months as well. Didn’t have any issues on any platform, including a couple of VM’s. Haven’t yet tested out this new trial Windows 7 build that M$ is giving out. Let’s see.

okay seriously … its dell dimension 9200 .. bought 2-3yrs back .. Dual core … 2 GB Ram … 260 GB (SATA) primary HD + 500GB (SATA) xtra + 1TB more .. Nvidia Gefore8800 512MB ..

I don’t think so its too bad … i tried Windows Home Server .. it was also slow in istallation .. now im installing SuseLinux .. which is also slow in installation … so my guess is my Primary HD is _____ up .. im transfering 500GB HD to 1TB & use it as primary … Hope it will solve somethin g..

any suggestion what else could make transfer rate so slow … BTW I clean my CPU dust yesterday … Wash it also .. heheh

I meant ur IDE/SATA/USB interface, something is bugging your system. If you're getting this much lag then try a SATA card or something and see if that makes a difference. Seriously, 2-3 hrs for 3.5 gb is too much. It takes me that long to download a torrent that size.

Nah it wasn't interface bug .. as DVD & other Sata devices were working fine ... it was faulty harddisk ..
Now installing Windows Home Server ... installing pretty fast ... 30mins
