Rafael Nadal beat Roger Federer today in an epic match (almost lasted 5 hours). 6-4 6-4 6-7 (3-7) 6-7 (8-10) 9-7. The best mens final I have ever seen. Rafa is Wimbledon champion for the 1st time in his career.

The final was unbelievable!!! I watched it from beginning to end. It was the best match I have ever seen! If anybody missed this match, they missed the best match of the year. Nadal totally deserved to win. He was just so resilient.
It was sad to see Federer lose though. You kind of expect him to lose the French Open but losing Wimbledon, I dont think anybody really believed he would lose.
Federer/ Nadal rivalry is just amazing and its gonna keep getting better and better!

^ Totally agree. This was the best match I have ever seen. The way Federer came back in the match was incredible and that fourth set tie break was just unbelievably. Last year's final was great but this one was just too big for words. The quality of tennis throughout the whole match from both players is like wow!!!
Federer will bounce back. He is a true champ. Hats off to Nadal, he just seemed a better player yesterday.
Me too, the best game of tennis I have seen. Well done to both the players for providing such a brilliant final.
