WELLDONE TO SHARAPOVA THE TEENAGE SENSATION, brilliant performance to defeat defending champ’ serena williams. @ 17 she has so much power in her arms, her forehand needs to improve but her backhand is phenominal, she really made serena run all over the court today with brillaint lobs and accurate passes down the court, not many players have managed to do that in the past.

he isnt himself today… and roddick is dominating… every time you think hes back, and beginning to change tactics, he gives away another service break!
its 1 set all and federer is down a break in the third.
and bloody rain isnt helping federer either… gives roddick time to rest cos his game is explosive and powerful and drains away a lot more energy than federer.

Kakay.. Both are playing awesome tennis. right now its 1 set a piece and its hard to predict a winner. Federer has picked up his game and so has Roddick.

Federer is up 2 sets to 1 after winning third set tie breaker.
Second set was just amazing, Federer raced to 4-0 and Roddick equalled to 4-4 but Federer broke Rod's serve again. Awesome tennis.
Federer has done it. 4-6, 7-5, 7-6, 6-4. Brilliant performance by him. Roddick tried really hard in fourth set and had several oppurutnities to break federer but every time federer would come up with an ace or a brilliant serve or a brilliant pass. :k:

The match was a tough one, but Federer had Andy running all over the court, he tired him to no end. I think roddick’s serves were much better than that of federer’s but alas, it just wasn’t roddick’s day.

andy has a good sportsmans spirit. he gave a bubbly interview after he lost. on a side note he reminds me of seann william.
i think serena didn't take her defeat that well. i guess andy was glad that he alteast made to the finals since it was his first time besides he played his best while serena did not play HER game.

Both federer and andy played awesome tennis. I think Andy had better serve and volley while federer had better passing shots. ( very marginal difference) THe main point was that federer picked his served and didnt allowed him too many aces which r key to roddicks game.
