We are in the same boat.
We keep talking about doing it but never really take the action.
There are so many reasons why a person should always have a will and "living will" in place.

Get a will made asap!!! It is always good to have one … and its smarter to have it updated ATLEAST every 2 years. I have seen so many sad cases where the wife and children … or even just children end up suffering due to a lack of a will. They are already going through such a difficult time… and then have to comply with complicated state intestate (dying without a will) policies. It is horrible. 
We all think that we dont need one yet… but that is the whole point of having a will… to be prepared for the unexpected and unknown. To helpe our luved ones left behind.
