Very insightful........I guess in a way that could be perceived as proposing.....so if a woman proposed to you lets say on a desi matrimonial site ( we shall assume you have posted your profile there and are single ready to mingle or are looking for Mrs.Mirch No.# 2 in your quest to complete a quartet :D ) how would you look upon or consider that proposal ???
If I know her and like her , I will not be offended at all. If a total stranger proposed like that I would run in the opposite direction as fast as I can .

I’m not up for the idea of me proposing to the man, I like the traditional way. Even if I could find the courage to propose to him if he happened to be too good to miss, I think facing the consequences would be much harder. I’d probably have to move to the north pole just to avoid the awkwardness if it turned out to be a ‘no’.

If I did in fact like her and was considering marriage I would be taken a back.
Why would you be taken aback? If you both were in love, and you were considering marriage in the first place. The fact that she must have loved you a great deal to have taken the bold step to propose to you...
