Well I gave out my CV to a couple of my firends..who gave it to their friends and so on. Well one of these so alled “friend of a friend” gave me a call (my number is on the CV), said he may have a position for me and asked if I was interested. “Sure” I said jumping in excitement.
Later that evening when I logged onto MSN he had added me to his list (email address is also on CV) so we started chatting, he said he thought I was very sweet and that I looked pretty in my picture (in Dubai you have to attach a picture to your CV)..I said thank you and asked about the position. Then he says well “your work will be done..and everything will go through…would you like to meet up?”
I was taken aback..said “I don’t really know you and I don’t really meet up with strangers and my folks don’t approve of social outings with men.”
He said “what if I come to your college? can I see you there?”
At this point I was a little scared but I said “look I don’t know you and I appreciate all that you are doing for me, but I don’t feel comfortable meeting you, perhaps if you came with my friend who gave you my CV then I wouldn’t mind”
He laughs and replies “I don’t want any kebab mein haddi, common I’m giving you a job, don’t I deserve some gratitude? Let’s meet..it’s been a long time for me…will you get wild with me?”
I was totally dumbfounded…said I’m sorry man but what you said was way out of line and I don’t do stuff like that, even if I loved someone that wouldn’t be something I would do.
He presisted, saying that I hadn’t met a “real man” who had “the touch”…I told him off and then just blocked him.
Then he gave me repeated missed calls, sent me 2 sms and then in his last sms told me I was such a “kid” and “where’s my sense of adventure”.
Sickening and scary, do men feel llike they can ask for sexual favours from women just be doing them “favours”. I assure at no point in time was I trying to be overly friendly of flirtatious, I thought he was a prefessional and talked to him like I woudl in an interview. I talked to my friend about this and she said she didn’t know him personally…just a business contact. She talked to him and he said that he had never even contacted me..must’ve been his younger brother. 
I don’t really want to tell my folks, coz they have this habit of being overly suspicious and protective. Just gonna ignore calls from that number of his and he’s blocked on MSn as it is… I just hope he doesn’t “appear” at my college..he knows what I look like, but I don’t know what he looks like.
