Will you delete...

Just a general question:

Suppose your spouse has problem with your facebook account because he/she doesn’t like the way people post on your wall, you post on theirs, etc, and your spouse asks you to delete your account. Will you delete?

Re: Will you delete...

No
Talk it out. There's no reason to take such extreme action.

Re: Will you delete...

Agree with H. Fb is a way for you to maintain contact with others..and before you decide to get rid of sonething...discuss the matter and you may be able to reach some sort of compromise. If similar requests have been made before...or take place often..then reflect over the state of the relationship n whether or not its right for u.

Re: Will you delete...

I wouldn't. I would talk it out as well. And i am guessing only reason your spouse can ask you to delete fb account is when he\she sees you are flirting excessively.

Re: Will you delete...

and if the answer is no then delete the spouse! simple!

rv, this seemed like reading the directions off the little leaflets found inside the medicine packing.

Re: Will you delete...

Come on......spouse vs fb?? thats reallly simple...

divorce him ASAP...

Re: Will you delete…

my hubby doesnt like facebook and the entire purpose of it so he doesn’t have an account.. i like it to keep in touch with old friends so i have one .. but he doesnt seem to be bothered about it and didnt tell me to de activate, even if he did i dont think i would :chai:

Re: Will you delete...

i wouldn't add her to begin with. i hate FB...for the sake of peace, i think FB has NO place for family members to be together. you defo ask for trouble if you add family members.

Re: Will you delete…

:smack:

Re: Will you delete…

Wouldn’t it create more trouble if you do have a fb account, and then you don’t add her!? :hehe: Wouldn’t that make her more suspicious!?

Re: Will you delete...

one has to consider why is it making their spouse upset. FB isnt disconnected from the real world.
If people flirt with you in real life, you enjoy someones attention, its bound to make your spouse insecure. few people are so well adjusted as not to be completely unaffected by it. You'll have to consider where he/she is coming from (but then dont these considerations need to be made before getting married?). . Imagine your spouse having a lot of friends of the opposite sex who flirt with him/her, while you have none.

a well adjusted couple is one where both are equal in desirability and have the same 'worth' , receive similar amount of attention, and have similar number of 'opportunities' **outside **the marriage.

Re: Will you delete…

Facebook golden rules

Re: Will you delete...

yep...i will.
or i will delete the people he dont like.

Re: Will you delete...

I would delete it. I wouldnt want to create unnecessary tension btw my husband and I.

Re: Will you delete...

Common people!!!! its just a fb account nothing else.............. i would definitely delete my account. I wouldn't like to have problems with my hubby just because of stupid fb (rite now i am quite addicted to fb but i know i can survive without it).

Re: Will you delete…

Never :naraz:

Re: Will you delete...

I would delete it. If it hurt him and affected him that much then it really isn't worth the aggro.

Re: Will you delete...

LOL @ extreme action, its just a stupid profile

Re: Will you delete...

Yeah then your mythological wife would kick some mythological parts.

Re: Will you delete...

I would not delete it.

There's nothing weird on my page. If he had an issue with something I'd just make sure not to give him a reason to get upset again.
