What do u think?
The outfit in the link is from Rani Emaan - Would it work with the following:
Colour change!
It would first of all be red.. Deep Red
The Kadai would be in silver and gold.. The red thread would be replaced with a Tilla I think
The colours of the Patees (strips) at the bottom would be a deep purple, deep red, and emerald green
There would be a lengah underneath which would have a spray and a purple patee at the bottom obviosly with kadai..
The duputta would have the emerald green and purple patees with kadia and a general spray.
It would be capped arms the neck would be different and the split would be much lower..
Advice would be appreciated.
i think its best to go with what a designer says. Also,, i think your dress idea is very much like one of Elan's dresses, why don't you look at her pics to get an idea.
That sounds gorgeous! Designers know what they're doing, they are the professionals after all! You might want the pattis to be made out of velvet, I've seen so many outfits with that sort of design recently! Also, get a sketch made from the designer! That way it'll be much less khayalon mein and easier to image!
Thanks to all the rest of you for all your kind comments I really do appreciate the fact you have taken the time to comment.
I cant believe over 300 people have viewed this and not commented that has got me worried even if its not to your taste I want to know…
If it does get made it would be from the designer herself its just that I am concerned its not really bridal enough.
Is it too plain?

hi how r u if u will get it made from the designer herself then u might ask the designer herself wtht would be the best choice dont get confused :)
n the shirt itself might look simple to u as a bridal but if it is paired with a dupata kaam on all bordered n lehnga/shrara with kaam on borders this will look great n more like a bridal :)

yeh u rite ..bridal dress is incomplte widout gharara/sharara/lehnga,,but i thnk she dnt want to wear lehnga thts y she has posted dis pic.............
Paired with a lengha and bridal duputta it will be heavy enough. Get trousers made as well and a lighter duputta so if you want to wear it again, it will be more wearable.
Some relatives of relatives had all their bridal and jahez stuff done from Rani Emaan and you can see that she made the outfits to suit them. You could tell what some outfits were based (in terms of the catwalk stuff) but they look quite different.
Thanks Guys for all the comments.. The lengah above is stunning. Its so simple yet elegant...
I think maybe it will look nice.I think for petite girls less heavy bridals do actually look better.
