since i am moving to Pakistan, i am wondering if i should take this cell phone set with me, it my cell phone that i was using here in amreeka, or if i should sell it here before i leave?
the only reason i’d want to take it to pak is if i can use it there, will i be able to?
This is a tri-band CDMA 800/1900 and Analog 800 phone? You may get it work for non-GSM service provider (Paktel or Insta??) after they have unlocked it. Don't know for sure.
so you think i should take it with me? i might a well…its 100 bucks…wont get much if i sell it anyway…maybe like 80 bucks…i guess its better if i just take it hmm…
but the charger wont work in pak…i’ll have to take one of those adapters for the voltage change…isn’t it?

Only if you find an *ullo to buy it for 80 bucks. Esp. since its a used phone on older technology (it doesn't support 1xRTT 3G system from Verizon). The other person may get a better phone for free if he/she activates from Verizon.

2 years ago, these adapters were only Rs 125 in Pakistan, so its not really a big deal. Every cellphone seller in Pak carries the adapters to make 110v devices work at 220v.
Faisal bhai Verizon is not giving away free phones w/ activation, werna mein ne ye kyun khareeda hota, and i just got this for 100 only two months ago, i have seen ppl selling phones like this second hand on my uni newsgroups for similar prices…khayr, 80 was just a guess, u might be right, i might not be able to cell it for that much…
khayr, i’m not thinking of making money over this or something, and certainly dont want to make anyone ullu i just thought if i cant use it in pak, might as well sell it here, jitnay ka bhee bikta hae…
put it on e-bay with all accessories.. one sold for around $80 bucks a few days ago... a lot of people are looking to replace the same phone they've always had cuz they like it's featurs.. or just want to use a part from it..
