will the hatred ever stop?

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

You should also tell your parents about the Muslims in Pakistan. May be, they’ll stop hating us?

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

I don't c why not. I myself have a lot of indian friends here in inglastaan. There is a lot of trust in between us, you know not your usual naam kai doost type. Ofcourse there are a lot of 'a holes' on both sides, some are pretty evident on this website itself, but majority in my opinion on both sides are nice friendly people; who wouldn't mind the occassional banter ever now and then.

Itehaad aur iteefaq is needed from both ends.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

I don't see any difference between Urdu and Hindi. All the Indian movies and T.V. plays I wachted were intelligible to me. Many of my friends that visited India said they never felt any difficulty communicating with Indians and out of 200 words would they hear a sanskrit word.

Of course Hindustani Civilization is a great civilization one should feel proud to own. The Muslim Civilization of India is Hindustani in character with a lot of contribution to world Muslim Culture.

Rest the hostality by some Pakistanis or Indians to each other, that is artificial and useless.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

look the point isnt that how many pakistani/muslim girls are gonna go and get with a hindu man…how bout you look at it this way…when you watch a movie at the end theirs a message or a moral given to you in the movie like if u saw baghban its saying to respect ur parents n stuff, but you tell me what do you think the point of this movie was? wat was the message being sent from Veer Zaara?? and liking an actor doesnt mean anything…i can love arjun rampal with him being a hindu doesnt mean im gonna go and have a relationship with him…thats two different things,..in islam its strictly forbidden to go and marry a hindu man…this movie has disrespected muslims …they made it look so nice cuz how Veer sacrifices his life n stuff, but no its showing something wrong, now i never saw a pakistani drama or film showing a hindu girl marrying a muslim man…if the director wasnt trying to show something bad…and if he did have good intentions of this film then he wud’nt have shown the girl being muslim or anything,it hurts to see movies showing such wrong things…i dont know where the positive feelings comes in…and their is a lot of difference in being from a different country…and having a different faith…if this movie was made for positive feelings in between two countries then they cud’ve shown a pakistani hindu and a indian hindu…they cudve made veer muslim…its an insult for a muslim daughter in law in a hindu family…its a bad message…n its sad that ppl tend not to understand…

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

Woooo girl, Pakistani culture is based primarily on Islam and dats it. Not on your dewali or holi culture you know, Pakistani culture is very different. Ok the Indian/ Pakistanis who are raised up in your U of Azz don’t hate each other but yo they hate themseleves you know. People hate and that’s how it goes every where you know… better know now than later.

and LD, Femme what were doing up all night  my fantasies are running high :D. Thank you ladies…:biggthumb

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

FYI. Veer Zara was made along the lines of a pakistani movie where a sikh or hindu girl falls in love with a pakistani guy while she is visiting pakistan for some relgious festival or something.

The point of the movie...love is blind :D but honestly God gave everyone a brain and if you know right from wrong a single movie or even a multitude cannot make you go against ur beliefs that is IF ur beliefs are firm enough to start with.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

When there was no Islam, yhere was Hindustani Culture. Religion is but a small component of culture. Why are you ignoring other dimensions of culture like material and social cultures? What about common ethnicity, ecology, and geography?

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

Holi and dewali have about as much to do with culture as ramadan and Eid. Take away religion and u will find a lot in common.

Where are u getting these weird notions from? Who said anyone was up all night?

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

Pakistani culture is based on Islam? Are you taking the Micheal love? Since when are Menhdi’s at weddings Islamic? Both cultures (pak and indian) are practically the same thing, it’s a case of six and two threes really. Im a gori and I know that much!

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

Hi Miss_Mohabbat,

I’ve attended an Iraqi wedding and the women had mehndi on. Here’s an interesting article on it:
http://www.tribuneindia.com/2001/20011031/main8.htm

Now same may argue, it’s not Islamic, but rather culture, but it’s not Indian, rather it is Arab.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

Woops, I think I hit the wrong nerve...:D

Everybody get down

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

You know I meant a menhdi function, not actually applying mehndi? Please don’t make me explain…it’s a Thursday.

Islam is a culture, a society, a civilization, a religion and a way of life.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

No one disagrees to that CM but thats not how it is practised in most of Pakistan.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

All of you born and raised in countries other than Pakistan and India, just SHUT UP. you have no clue.

Re: will the hatred ever stop?

Femme, aap bolti raho, the above was not for you.
