Will Short Bangs Look Good on Wide/Round Face?

I want to get the short bangs sooo badly just like this picture… I really wanna change up my look with them, they look so trendy..and even though i’m the daredevil, I’m hesistant about getting it because I don’t know how it will look on my roundish, wide face…I feel like the shorter bangs only look good on girls who have longer faces like Kim Kardashian, or Katrina Kaif, and it will just look funny on me…

I usually have the side swept bangs which is the look that is recommended for people who have rounder faces…but I really wanna try the shorter bangs…

I need your guy’s recommendation, will it look good?? thanks!

if you want to get short bangs, then go ahead. just remember that hair always grows back. Bangs specially grow really fast, so if it doesnt look good you can always sweep them to the side. but dont just not get them if you reallly want them. be brave!

and I've seen many girls with short bangs like these and round faces, and they look good. :)

Give it a try. It looks cute on some girls. If it doesn't work out, no prob-you can just pin them back until they grow long enough to become a side fringe.

it's just going to make your cheeks look more round it won't frame your face in a good way consider side bangs and layers if you want bangs

same goes for long hair in a middle part, that's a horrible idea for round faces yet so many girls walk around like that

I agree with the girls. Side bangs should look good but not the typical, straight bangs. I think they suit Redah Misbah who has a round face:

i don't know what short bangs are? But i've had a full fringe or 'bangs' and i've got a round face and i LOVED mine :) can't wait until i'm married so i can get them cut again :D

If you do a search on the Internet and type in "bangs" after the name of a celebrity with a round face, you can get some pictures that'll give you an idea. Selena Gomez, Christina Ricci, Michelle Williams, and Demi Lovato have roundish faces and they pulled off blunt bangs.

I don't know if taking a picture of yourself and drawing in some bangs would help...you can try that out. You could ask your hair stylist if they think that blunt bangs would suit your face shape. I'm sure there are other other factors such as the length of your hair, whether or not you have layers, the thickness....would all play into the overall look of your hair.....(besides the bangs). And if you find that it's not working...as the others have said....it will grow out. I would say go for it....and I hope it turns out well. That way, it won't always remain as a "what if" question in the back of your mind. Whether it suits you or doesnt.....you'll get some closure. :)

think mahima chowdhury at times she was able to work middle parts and shorter bangs but most of the time the flattering thing for her face shape was layers that frame the face and side parts

You could always try gradually going shorter.

I personally think it could look great BUT if you're really hesitant that try cutting them up to your chin and then go shorter from there...gradually.

Upload your pic onto the website below and then you can try out different hairstyles on your face, that’s what I like to do. There are other websites that do the same thing..I just can’t think of their names right now.http://www.instyle.com/instyle/makeover/
