its funny, some pakistanis are trying their best to appreciate tendi, which seems so fake, but the hatred is more apparent in some others, atleast its coming straight from their hearts.

most people here probably know nothing about basketball, but you sound like a michal jordan hater conveniently revising jordan’s legacy based on his performance as a washington wizard from 2001-2003…nevermind the michal jordan of the chicago bulls from 1991-1998.

it is the exact same thing sachin haters and undercover sachin haters will do with his legacy. in fact, this movement has already started…spearheaded by a certain population segment of world cricket fans.

It’s NOT fair to compare Inzi with Sachin. Inzi is the ‘aaloo of cricket’ , thelazy runner, the under-achiever. Sachin enjoyed a thousand times more reverence and affection from the crowd for thepast 17 years. He is the so called god in India. So, he will be measured on a higher pedestal. Scoring an odd 90 or hundred every 10th match is NOT enough for Sachin. Stop praising him next to Bradman and I will be more than satisfied with his odd century here and there.

Sachin will be remembered as India's greatest batsman to date but he will also be remembered as a player who repeatedly came up small in finals and for never winning a World Cup, despite coming close at home in 1996 and reaching a final in 2003. His greatest innings, one day, has to be in the 2003 WC against Pakistan.
