So from where do people derive will power??
is it someone is born with?
or
acquires as a consequent of his/her upbringing?
or
can it be learned by making a conscious effort?

Hmmm and men and women have varying degrees of willpower.
Best thing I found for adding will power was mental and physical torture after you were exposed to enough bastinado sessions you could endure anything... likewise best way to crush it is simmilar force applied in reverse order...

If one can visualise the outcome, willpower just comes from within. During Ramadan, for example, we're able to last the entire day without eating and that is because we're clear what we're doing it for and what the end result will be. Lots of eidi :p jk!

The fire comes from the belly. My upbringing helped a lot for me to have a positive outlook on achieving the best in life...
BUT even without all that support I still think I would have the hunger to go and do great things.

Will power is proportional to the desire for or against something. So its all about how willing you are to work for or against an object (Tangible or not).

Aye fear has a big thing in will power mate... if your made to fear something chances are you wont cross the boundary.

Not really, as a kid for example it wasn't about heaven or hell but the sense of pride and achievement you got from keeping a fast, and all the shabashes.

The fear of hell or the desire of heaven or simply the desire to go through detox for that period. Motivation can come in all forms.

It has to do with how much you want something..........so will power would be directly proportional to desire !

I believe the source of will power is clean conscience. A guilty conscience takes away the power of will. The cleaner the interior, the stronger the will.
