will peace endeavours find fruitful results?

srilanka has just stepped in to a new dawn of peace.the peace endeavours initiated by the Norgwegian diplomat Mr.Eric solhem has met its goals, but still a long way to go in terms of L.T.T.T.E’s real face to come out.L.T.T.TE is allegedly, notorious for its reneges from the promises and bloody path followings.there is a growing concern over the sinhala and muslim pockets existing in the L.T.T.E areas.(once the peace is installed, these areas will come under the direct rule of the L.T.T.E).i am loking the recent efforts from both the sides very anxiously because being a person from the L.T.T.E controlled lanka i have growing concenrs over many issues including rehabilitation ,meadical and health cares and security.

is anyone confident of the new peace processes?

Pledges are always made each moment, and broken shortly after. The Japan conference next year (May or June?) will afford a small window of opportunity to see how seriously this peace process is perceived by the international community.

:flower1: i am not certain of anyone else on this board from Sri Lanka, Gesta. Perhaps you might be the individual best suited to answer this question. If you do not mind my asking, how confident are you of this new move? What expectations do you have from each party in regards to each of the issues you mentioned (access to healthcare, rehabilitation, etc.)?
