I recently discovered my youngest brother has been smoking with his friends, which has got me really worried. Nobody else in our family smokes so it seems really random and out of the blue.
He says they’ve only just started doing it so I was wondering how long it typically takes to get addicted. If the substances in them are addictive then does it take just one? Or is it more?
I need to convince him to stop but it will be harder if they have a hold on him, so to speak.
Oh and he doesn’t normally become addicted to things with his personality but chemicals/substances could be different, I don’t know.

Strong consistent counter measures need to be made. He needs to change his company.
