so far humans have a somewhat recorded history of “ruling” the earth for about 4000-5000 years. not even a blink in the eye of time as far as life goes on earth. 100,000 years - some form of humans might make it to live on the conditions that’ll prevail on planet earth at that time. if that earth is different significantly from current day earth, we might not make it.

I think 4 to 5 thousand is too short. May be 20,000 years.
