Actually cloning is very "iffy" and there is considerable controversy on what is what isn't a clone. Even with Dolly the sheep, some in the scientific community suggested that Dolly wasn't a true clone and don't forget that there were a lot of problems with Dolly as well. Human beings have a much more complicated gene regulation and expression system with several checkpoints that would trigger spontanteous abortions and we don't understand the system completely either (we are still working with fruit flies and worms to understand thier developmental system) so I think that cloning humans is a long long way off if not entirely impossible.
:)..Good to know that..........but on the other hand..........they have shown that organs can be cloned.................spare part factory for kidneys and Liver also pancreas are getting to be an attainable goal in the very near future with all the stem cell research going on.................
So will the soul less(cloned) organ when it is transplanted into another human, does it become part of the old soul (merge)?
