the term wifey material is subjective. for some, a girl is wifey material if she is well organized, is perfect in managing house work and other chores, is obedient, tolerant etc and for some these things doesn’t matter much. For some, traits like good character, flexibility in nature, ability to cope up with the stressful situations, ability to handle the desi in-laws politics etc are important.
So if you are clear about your definition of the wifey material then you either get to know the girl and see if she is what you are looking for, and if there is no way of getting to know the girl then you can only get a hint by what others tell you and or whatever you can observe in one or two sittings during typical rishta process.
