But on a more serious note, some men are secure with their wives having a higher education and lucrative career. Other men are not very comfortable with it. These issues need to be sorted out before agreeing to a marriage.
Also, it's not a wife's fault that (BEFORE SHE EVER EVEN MET HER HUSBAND)........that she pursued a higher degree/career. Nobody was stopping the guy from achieving his goals. To hold that against someone and let it be the cause of bitterness is not fair. If it's such a problem, then one should marry someone who they find more compatible in this regard.
