Long as they don’t mind wife 1 and their kids possibly hating them for the rest of their lives or wanting to divorce them..

Easy to just take another wife.. not so easy dealing with the consequences..

(I’ve never believed it’s mandatory in Islam for the husband to take his first wife’s permission but do know he has to announce he’s done it.. he’s not allowed to hide it or lie)

and, that’s the reason why we have Walima…it’s the announcement to the society that they have legally married and they are husband and wife.
