no one says, divorce is good. it's the last option, and mostly good natured people exhaust all avenues to get back together, before they make the decision to turn away from each other.
other issues that do not fall in the purview of this post - such as child/ren and their care by both parents - are issues which should be seriously and objectively sifted, to determine whether staying married is better or divorcing.
you have good points which you raised.
