Should this be smaller as I’m petite (5"2 nearly!). I’ve ordered now but the designer told me it didnt need to be changed. Just checking what other petite brides have done…

You're average height for a desi woman, and most duputtas are standard size...so i guess no need to worry. You should be careful of how heavy it will be though, u dont want it to overpower u.

I didn't want a heavy dupatta anyway, so have just ordered a border one with small boothi circles in between. Wanted to be able to see the colour of the dupatta rather than have it covered with embroidery.
What is the best way to pin dupatta?
Also I've ordered a corset top that really elongated my body so hopefully I won't look like too much of a shorty!!
