WI on day one at stumps 362/2, with Gayle 219 not out with the help of 26 fours and 8 sixes. 
Damn it our whole team cannot score this much.

Amazing indeed...Gayle was always a blazing hitter specially when he is in form.
A great lesson for Mr. boom boom. Gayle a great master blaster also just a year ago had hinted of giving up tests or at least showed less interest in it. However he did not give up! And he shows what a REAL blaster is capable of. So what if it is TEST cricket. If you can hit and hit with intelligence and intent then why not in test cricket as well?
As for Pakistan....its the inability to take the heat...and I don't mean the heat of dubai, rather the heat of being in the middle of fielders and world class bowlers hammering away, while the batsmen exhibit sublime strokeplay when ever they see weakness.
Afsos..pakistani players have lost the mental toughness that is needed for batting. Bowling does not require the nerves that a batsmen needs to possess.

Yes but then he was acting as an all rounder batsmen. So he showed he has the nerves (or the pitch is like an old tawa :D)
