Irfan Pathan's inclusion didn't help Indian cause yet, he has been the more expensive bowler of the lot in this match... everyone took Chappel to cleaners for not including Pathan in last Test match. People can argue about the pitch, but Munaf/VRV are bowling on the same pitch.

Well..Actually irfan bowled beautifully in first half. He was unlucky that couple of close calls against Lara went in Lara's favour.

Indians can never produce a quality fast bowler.. they had training camps for fast bowlers, MRF academy and pata nahin kya-kya.. but still they produce sub-standard raddi bowlers who struggle against windies tail-enders (like last test). I guess still Anil Kumble is their best and maybe.... fastest :D

One of the close LBW shouts, which was closely looked at after the umpire didn't raise his finger off of the bowling of Pathan, was seen as the ball clipped the top of Lara's stumps. It was not clearly visible to the naked eye, but nonetheless, showed up in the hawk-eye. Umpire's decision was made due to the height of that ball.
That one did go in Lara's favor, yes (Asad Rauf was the umpire, if I remember correct).

^ arrey yaar aap tu humari pol khol rahe ho! Asad Rauf is one of the best umpires.. he can never make any mistake.. he is a sachcha talib of the legendary Mr. Shakoor Rana.

Its true that stats don't reveal the "beauty" part of the picture but at the end of the day you do check the stats and see who contributed more in terms of wickets with less number of runs given. I don't know the beauty factor of Munaf and VRV bowling :D
